A careful selection of found and discarded objects married with color and texture are the underpinnings of my personal narrative. Multiple themes run through my work, such as: The search for divine peace in unorthodox places and the need for touchstones or talismans to keep you present during your journey.

 

By acknowledging the consumptive, throw-away society that exists today and choosing to repurpose and reuse to produce art challenges the notion of “junk” and “garbage”, satisfying both a need to create and a desire to conserve.

 

The pursuit of life balance. Protecting and tending to ones own delicate equilibrium while engaging in an exchange of power and information.
